Anime Next with a bit of ketchup

Earlier this month i was at Anime NEXT 2012 it was awesome! This year i only cosplayed for one day (as seen in picture of my Meet the medic TF2 cosplay) While at the convention i seen a decent amount of amazing cosplayers and talked to many old pals of mine,  this year unlike any year i have noticed allot of nerf guns used for cosplay. Left and right i have seen steam punk Long Shots and Long Strikes, but i also seen a group of fail Left 4 Dead cosplayers that spray pained a working vortex tornado black 0_0 and they have no idea how much its worth! Well besides the part about ugly spray painted valuable blasters i met a nerfer outside of a nerf war for the first time, his name is Nerfoholic he is a cool dude and he also live in NJ. Hopefully i will see him at the next war i go to, since at the convention we talked for like 15 min about just Nerf .

I had allot of fun at Anime NEXT, also i haven't updated in forever, mainly cause i keep this blog for personal reference and to show/ review blasters i get, but i have aquired a even more ridiculous amount of Nerf guns and Super Soakers in my time a away just to name a few :

  • Long shot - CS 6 (blue)
  • Switch Shot (yellow)
  • Max Force Mad Hornet
  • Gear Up edition  Raider- CS 35
  • Super Soaker 50 (1989 original)
  • Air Tech 1k (blue)
  • Super Soaker shot blast (blue)
And so so many more.....

There is no point for me to name them all my next post will have my room and my whole arsenal ( well over 100 guns). i  know my collection isn't the biggest compared to other nerfers but i do have a very decent collection, and i never got a chance to properly document them. Expect more post this summer, but for now catch you guys later.

Thrifty Nerfing and Clear Recons

Days went by, i've lost track of time but not Nerfing! I've just snagged me 2 Clear Recons at the price of only 32$ along with severaly other blasters includeing this Motorized Ballzooka MP150.
Motorized Ballzooka is the opposite of how i like my women, big, loud, and obnoxious.I am still happy to have it, gotta catch 'em all ya know!!!

Well anyway, im quite determined in my gain to snag vintage while thrifting. I go Nerf hunting every sunday or if i can run 2 miles on a weekday from Secaucus to Union City( also my HvZ Running trainning. Sometimes i get gold and ended up carrying a longshot, Magstrike, Vulcan full with batterys, and a Predator pistol at the cost of 5$ total. Other times not so much, but its the neverending thrill of the hunt! Have you ever felt that way searching for blasters at thrift stores or shopping?

I Have Returned!

After a long while away (forgotten my sign in) i am finaly back and jam packed with news and write ups. To start it off im going to say i am only update dateing once a week from now on. Now for some good news ive just gotten some more dat' nice vintage swag!
Nerf Hyper Sight Expand-A-Blast, its big bulky unique function and style make it my favorite corky gimmick blaster. Its spring still got some nice power to it and its in flawless condition! Now thats one thing i could scratch off my WTB list along with a Mad Hornent i just got on NH.

I have got lot more news and blaster reviews to show but i never seem to have the time so i introduce to you Plank who will also be helping me post, maintain, and edit this blog. He's been nerfing since 1999 and got some experience underneath this belt if he actualy wore one.
Well thats it for now, stay tuned cause we are back for good!!!!
